Forum Question

Dear Admin,
Is it me, or do the threads get deleted/dissapear from the forum after a time? If so, can I ask why?

Hi Malfisher

Yes posts in other forums, other than the members area where getting deleted after a time. This only happened if there where no posts to these messages after a considerable time. But posts in the members area where not getting deleted. I have adjusted the rest of the Forum now so post should not get deleted, but will have to keep an eye on this, as we are only allowed so much space before we will need to pay for more. Very Happy

Thanks for the reply, I understand the space things as I have my own website, but on our forum there is like 23000 posts and it is about 175 mb in size, but 150mb of that is photos. They eat the disk space, if I was to make them link to photobucket or something the disk usage would be quite low.

I may well get into the habit of copying posts that have usefull info in them from now on.

The frame number dates it as 1929 and the BZ pre-fix engine no makes it a 172cc Villiers TT Supersports engine,
This combination was the  Francis barnett Model 9 machine

when this machine was made there were no "off the shelf" cables, you were expected to make your own ( or have a dealer do it for you) It will be probably easier to pick up some cables for later machines and adapt or modify them to fit ?
If you have the original shoes, there should be plenty of places where they can be re-lined with new friction material
