1936 Cruiser wiring

Does anyone know what part is the one circled on the picture please.
Making a new loom but this seems extra. No speedo fitted, the head and park and rear lamp seems to be there.
Thanks Ken

If you follow the chart you can see the rear light is on the same connection so the circled part is - The head light. The round part in the middle of the chart front is an Ammeter. Bob

Thanks Bob for the input.i don't know why the picture is sideways but the Ampmeter is at the very top.
Under that is the Headlamp/Ignition Switch
Under that is the Headlamp
Under that is I think the Parking lamp.

As you say the Circled part is on the same pin as the rear lamp.

Morning, well it was late when I posted. Yes I agree with your assumption on layout so the circled cowl is a under slung pilot lamp. But why it's got two pilots I'll wait for J H for conformation, perhaps it's for speedometer illumination? ?

Someone suggested that in those days some bikes had a lamp to work with should you have problems?
What do you think

Ken,
From memory, mine has another, low-wattage park lamp in the headlamp reflector.
Actually, I just checked the diagram again, and it looks like the one I'm thinking of would be the "pilot bulb holder".
Could be gauge lighting, or possibly a lamp not installed on your bike. I have a number of similar diagrams for these bikes.

Thanks for that.

Well everything seems to work although it has ant run yet.

I wonder if it could be for the version that had the luxury of a speedo?

Do you happen to know what the correct bulb is for the gin warning lamp ?

Thanks Ken
