Mudguard Stays

Post  cdow50 on Tue Dec 11, 2018 5:34 pm

Depends if you want a specific FB part. If it's just some generic stays for a special build, try Hitchcocks Motorcycles. They're best know as Royal Enfield specialists but they do have (black) stay kits for 21 inch alloy trials mudguards - you can always spray them green. I use them a lot for generic parts, as their service is quick (usually next day) and whilst not always the cheapest, they are reliable.   http://accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/Mudguard-Stays?&model=

Trials stays

Post  piston 197 on Wed Dec 12, 2018 5:14 pm

If it is a proper 1952 trials it does n ot have a bottom stay or an alloy guard, the centre of the guard ( steel) mouints under the bottom yoke and there is bracket on the back of the fork leg and a stay runs either side from this bracket in 2 loose pieces to the rear portion of the guard, round piece of tube flattened at each end with a hole in it
