Bearing size

Post  piston 197 on Tue Dec 11, 2018 7:12 am

Not sure they are for a FB, the seller does not list which models and there are different ones ? and they are an Imperial R & M number ?
Most post 1954 front hubs use 6202/c3 again can be ordered with rubber seals if 2RS is added to the number.
The correct ones with the correct C3 radial clearance can be bought on Ebay for a comparable price Ebay item 152409880734 ( 3.76p inc free post !)
These fit
Falcon 8170,74
Cruiser 68,71,75,80,82,83,85,89,91
light cruiser 79

Bearings

Post  piston 197 on Wed Dec 12, 2018 4:55 pm

Well he does not know what he is on about ? as the Kestrel and Plovers 73,78 and 86 use cup and cone bearings with loose balls and the others Falcon, cruisers use metric 6202/c3roller bearings ??
I would advise steer clear !

Have looked up a bearing reference and LJ15 is the same size as 6202, so the bearings he has advertised are 15mm x 35mm x 11mm and will fit post 1954 Falcons and Cruisers, but will NOT fit any Kestrel or Plover 73,78,86
Mind you they are available elsewhere for less money, cheapest place on Ebay i can find them is 2.64p ( with free postage) each for the correct 6202 /C3 ( radial clearance) 2RS ( double rubber shielded)
