Unusual Villiers engine on eBay

Post  John Wakefield on Thu Dec 06, 2018 9:01 am

This strange looking flat twin 2 stroke Villiers engine is currently on eBay.... canít quite find out what it originally was fitted to from a Google search, looks like an industrial engine, possibly from a road wacker/thumper or vibrating drill. It obviously has a handle with the throttle lever attached. Engine No appears to be MPD1150

I believe these were used as a drilling machine, both for road and rail sleeper drill
