Trials sprocket

Post  bigpete on Mon Nov 12, 2018 7:06 pm

Evening all,
Still trying to find a rear 5" sprocket for my trials bike but it looks like they are pretty hard to come by. Thoughts now are buy a blank and machine it (supplier?) Please. Or strip the primary and fit a smaller front. Any thoughts about size either front or rear appreciated.
Thanks peter

Which engine/gearbox

Post  piston 197 on Mon Nov 12, 2018 7:31 pm

Which engine/gearbox set up are you running
on my 8E i used 18 tooth engine sprocket,14 tooth gearbox and 57 rear wheel, i was running the 3 speed gearbox with the 3 speed wide ratio final output gear and corresponding layshaft gear and the 9E clutch with smaller clutch sprocket than the normal 8E one ?

Just working out what you are running wil give me some idea,
engine sprocket size, gearbox sprocket, 3 or 4 speed gearbox ( trials or STD ratio) which clutch etc.
