Hi can any one tell me if you can still get suspension gaiters for 1955 Kestrel 69.
Also head light Chrome ring plus sealed beam unit?

Thank you denboy-10

The gaiters from a BSA D1/D3 bantam will do the job, just look them up on Ebay

the headlight is a Lusac 575 ( 5 3/4") again rims available on Ebay, the light unit is not a sealed beam unit, it uses a bulb, again it is for a Lucas 575 and will have 575 on the glass.

Helpful information, I've noticed the gaiters on my kestrel 69 are getting harder, is there anything to make existing rubber bit more subtle or is replace only option?

IRC an article some time ago in practical sports bile magazine where they used a mixture that include wintergreen oil to make unobtanium carb rubbers flexible may be worth a google (other search engines are available) search
