There is a Cruiser 45 carb on Ebay at the moment complete wtih correct choke mechanism
for sale at an eye-watering start price of 250 ( dreamer) item No 273552207437 and wrongly described ( although i have sent him a message to tell him what it is, so might be correct now ?)

Seller is Malcolm Leech
UK Specialist Supplier of Bantam electrical parts, amongst other things!
so he should know what it is and that its not worth 250!!

Yes John, i knew only too well who it was, but chose not to give out the name, i know the man well and am aware his pricing structure has no bearing on his purchasing strategy, but it is a difficult carb to find with it's unique choke mechanism intact and someone might be just that desperate, I did message him and point out that his description was wrong and it was not for the models he listed, he acknowkledged my message and continued with the wrong description ? It is still listed wrongly 4 days after he received my message, but i suppose someone might pay more for a Scott or New imp carb than for a lowly FB one ?

Now sold

It shows as having being re-listed as a "Buy it now" and selling for 200, which while at the top end does not seem too bad for a complete carb with the rare "bell" choke
