Cruiser 39 Dynamo

Post  kerabo on Fri Oct 19, 2018 4:21 pm

Does anyone know how the wiring block parts from the Miller Dynamo on a 1936 Cruiser.
I just don't want to damage it by getting wrong.
Thanks Ken

Wiring

Ken , the only diagram i have for a Cruiser 39 shows 2 terminals from the dynamo marked SH and +B
on the diagram i have SH goes to terminal 3 of the ballast resistor type Miller switch and +B goes to terminal 2 ( earth)

Not sure what you mean by" wiring block parts "?

Yes John I have that diagram but there is what looks like plastic but guess it's Bakerlite lump on the side into which the wires go. This has to unplug from the Dynamo somehow but I must be careful not to damage anything.

That info we talked about is in the post to you John

Thanks Ken

Ken , it should just be a 2 pin plug and should pull out, maybe the pins are corroded into the sockets ?

Does it pull out of another half of the Bskerlite socket or does the whole thing pull away from the Dynamo

I will proceed with care.

Thanks Ken
