In the same league as the bag of lead to hang in your tank, the water injection to improve performance/mile per gallon etc
In practice not a lot of use , just wasting your money

Yes ore from the "snake oil salesmen "?
No scientific proof just claims that are fdifficult to substantiate
There is a video with one cut open to show what is inside ( 2 washers and 2 self tapping screws)
Just googogle Spitfire multispark see what is inside/Youtube

Now i have some millions unclaimed in the Ivory coast if anyone is interested

I can remember a bloke going round the car shows and even popular car parks - (I first saw him in the car park at Lands End), selling these things. He had an old Austin Seven engine and he'd attach one of these devices to the coil HT lead then gradually remove plug leads until the engine was running on just one cylinder. Showing how 'powerful' the device was. Of course a well run-in Austin Seven engine would run on one cylinder anyway, provided it wasn't attached to anything or any kind of load.........like a car!

I am surprised these useless devices are still being sold, along with the tin/lead pellet 'Fuel Cat' that was supposed to have been used in Spitfires and Hurricanes in WW2.
I am even more surprised that Old Bike Mart (and other mags) are carrying adverts for these scams.

John You have to realise OBM is Morton's owned , the same people who own classic bike shows, at stafford this weekend the number of non-motorcyling interest proliferated, they are only interested in revenue and have no integrity whatsoever, They will let anyone advertise anything if it is paid for, will give stalls to hat sellers, dorbell chime sellers, sweet stalls, plant sales etc.
They are driven by a company who have to increase profits for shareholders/owners every year ,
i gave up having a stall at Stafford when it reached 265 for 15Ft of grass or 90 indoor for a 6 x 3 table.
Most of the regular decent traders have stopped attending, there were another 3 notable absences from regular attendees this time and at least 3 stallholders told me they would not be doing it again, including Bob Wright who has been an ever presence for 22 years
