Hi Stuart yes a brilliant show at copdock, i visited the club stand and admired the beautiful bikes on show with special interest in yours as it is the model before mine i believe, nice to put some faces to names as i was talking to Ted and Ken, Ted was telling me how to wire in these modern rectifiers and with a quick sketch or two all made sense. but back to your bike Stuart is your bike wired using the old rectifier? as when i look at the wiring diagram for our bikes that don't make sense to me, two wires coming from the rectifier going to one leading to the amp meter and one wire coming from mag to fixing bolt of rectifier then on to light switch . i have wired my bike as diagram using old rectifier but with massive discharge on starting engine . any ideas before i start melting things regards Alan

You say a massive Discharge on starting? What happens if you put your lights on without it running.?
Just wondering if the amp meter is wired backwards

Ok
If the amp meter goes the same way you do have a problem.

If your feeling rich VS now have the Eletrex system for twins.
