hi there i have a 1959 falcon, just put the centre stand on , im looking for the mechanism that holds it in place (not sure what its called, the compression spring and rod) if anyone has one available for sale. if not im thinking of fabricating one myself, if anyone can tell me where i canm get a compression spring that fits.

Scott,

I've bumped the centre stand thread so you can find it. Although entitled Falcon 87 there are discussions of both the 87 and 74/81 set-ups.
