IOM TT 1922

Just received the book "Isle of Man TT Golden Years 1913 to 1939" on page 23 is a photo of Tynesider J Joynson on a Invicta 250 built by Arthur Barnett and Gordon Francis who as we know started the Francis Barnett Company. The bike broke down in the lightweight race on lap 4 of 5.

Invicta Motorcycles had been run by Arthur Barnett. I am not sure if there was A Barnett was involved in the two companies at the same time.

Not got any info on the Invicta bike but believe in was a Villiers. Invicta seemed to use JAP on the bigger bikes.
