Tyres ?? what choice

So im plodding along with my cruiser 80/89 project and i am looking for tyre options 3.25 x 19 any suggestion on a period looking tyre e.g. should front and rear be of  the same pattern??,i have seen some pics with a different tread on the front can anyone post pics of their choice on the bike???

Are you sure you have the right size they both were always 18" wheels

I have always had ribbed on the front and block tread on the rear I bought a Cruiser 75 new in 1957 and that had Avons on Peter

Just be carefull if you go any wider. If not dead central they can touch he fork brace .

FB Cruiser tyres

The Dunlop K82 3.25 x 18 is ok for the back, but as Ken states above will probably not fit between the front forks - modern tyres are fatter than the original items. I don't think that Avon still make 3.25 x 18 tyres. I have no experience of the European  and far eastern tyres that are available in 3.25 x 18 sizes.

The spec for my Falcon 81 is 3.25x18 but I had to fit Dunlop K82s front and rear in 3.00x18 as the 3.25s were too wide.

Thanks for your input everyone , the choice of tyre here in canada is very limited, Dunlop K82s $150.oo.. Heidenau K44 Vintage Racing Tire 90/90 x 18 $120...Metzeler Block-C Tire $120... I found a Duro much cheaper.
