Front fork issue ?

Yet another question , my apologies . If u saw my last post Iíve just got the front forks back on the bike , and I can honsetly say getting those steering head ball bearings in place and the forks on was the most frustrating task 😂 but my question is regarding the steering stem bolt which holds it all together , I have it all fastened tight but there is a gap between the nut at the bottom of the steering stem and the bottom plate of the forks . ( Iím sorry I canít think of a better way to explain it) is this anything to worry about ?

Thick grease and get the wife to put the bolt through when you hold it in line.

Are you sure you haven't left a spacer out. What FB. Post a picture

I didnít really think this one through as Iím in Canada at the moment so have no photos of the problem , maybe Iíll restart the thread when Iím back , I just wanted to get an idea of what I need to do when Iím back , but from the sounds of it itís not right so when Iím back Iíll have a play around and see .

Maybe you have 26 and 27 on top of the forks instead of under the top bracket.
Apart from that it's hard to be far out.
And as Intruding said. 1/4" balls and I think 19 each end.
