black hawk build

Hello All Barneteers

I'm still learning how to put a completely dismantled Black Hawk back together properly - every day's a schoolday! I've bought one of the Villiers Services' FB Special magneto covers, and the only way I can get the engine/gearbox assembly into the frame without the mag cover fouling the saddle-footrest and footrest-steering head tubes is to offset it to the left about half an inch. Is this the right way of going about it or am I missing something? Any advice will be gratefully received. The bike's missing chainguards and rear stand; anyone got spare items? Please contact on 01246 864740 or dsparkes944@gmail.com
