Cruiser 80 Parts

Post  dodgeyroger on Wed May 30, 2018 5:00 pm

Just got my Cruiser 80 on the road after a two year restoration , been riding around this week and have a "snagging list" . Tool box lid fell off and some inconsiderate motorist ran over it . Throttle sticks and needs new cable. Also would like to fit a rear rack if anyone could help with these parts that would be great, The bike starts 2nd or 3rd kiick from cold, it runs fine but is a bugger to start when hot. only way is to bump start down hill, Any ideas ?

How did the toolbox lid manage to fall off?
If it don't start hot is it rich or flooding? Stop it with the petrol off and then only turn on if it starts to see. Is it a paper air filter element as they can get sodden in oil and make rich.

Have stud or studs on eBay at moment but stainless and not cheap.

But I need the whole lid Ken, the screw bit in the centre is about all left salvageable that's how I realized that I had left it in the unlatched position. Roger
