Fulmar 88 - Grab/Lift Handle
Hi,
Weather is getting warmer so I知 getting my Fulmar out ready to ride once the rain has stopping. Unfortunately, I知 also getting a year older than when I last used it and have difficulty lifting it back onto its centre stand. Years ago when I own one of these bikes it had a grab/lift handle on the left hand side. Mine when purchased some nearly 10 years ago was missing this. Haven稚 found one being sold on eBay but still looking. Alternative unless someone has one sitting around in a box that they don稚 need is to get one remade. Could someone in the club please send me a few close up photos of this handle so that I can get a reasonable picture of one to copy.
Thanks
Neville

Ŵgrab handle
Just a thought but if your bike when on its stand is high enough to put a wheel in the air think of shorting the stand a fraction.
My sunbeam seems heavier each year and with that its the sag in the front fork springs. That inch lower means your lifting it more than swinging it onto the stand.
To prove a point put you front wheel on a 1" thick plank send then lift onto the stand .
Regards Ken

grab handle
On my Fb Cruiser ( the ex Moscow trip bike) there is a grab handle which is a single loop attached to the top of the rear shocker.
If you put Royal Enfield lift handle into Ebay search you will find plenty of them, and also other enfield grab handles that may be adaptable
See Ebay item No262925548263
