Falcon 87 Battery

Post  colk2004 on Tue Mar 06, 2018 9:51 am

I looking at using a Motobatt MBT6N6 for the Falcon 87. https://www.motorcycleproducts.co.uk/motobatt-battery-mbt6n6-p-283852.html?gclid=CjwKCAiAlfnUBRBQEiwAWpPA6SuXbsW0E-91iHg54kLbIn_bH0zCCkfe4YlEMCyGRUl5xdx6vQ4sZBoCc-EQAvD_BwE
like this one. Is there a better option out there? Any other recommendations?

Battery

I used one those fully seamed batteries that look like and egg carton. They will hold charge even if not used for months and months and are maintenence free.
You can mount in any position

I have had one of the Cyclone batteries on my Triumph 3ta for 6 years and it is still going strong.

I have used a 6volt 10 amp hour sealed lead acid battery on my Greeves https://www.batteryclerk.co.uk/ajc-6v-10ah-sealed-lead-acid-agm-vrla-battery.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvP7G2sXi2QIV77vtCh3dWAhvEAQYCCABEgLGBvD_BwE
cheaper than the Motobatt and almost double the capacity
