Falcon 67 Parts

Post  TonyC on Wed Feb 21, 2018 5:24 pm

Hi folks. I am looking for a rear axle nut for my 1954 Falcon 67 It is 9/16" x 26tpi
Does anyone have a spare one they would like to get rid of. It is just a normal nut not the sleeve nut that goes on the end of the shaft.
Thanks, Tony.

9/16 axle nuts

Post  keith livingstone on Thu Feb 22, 2018 12:06 am

Hi Tony
I presume it's the plain nut that goes up against the backplate you're looking? I don't think I have any. Hopefully someone will come up with one for you or offer to make one up, but if not I'd recommend Villiers Services who are really good not only for the large engine parts but also fasteners etc.

Best wishes
Keith

Hi Guys, Thanks for your input. I have spoken to Villiers and the chap said he would try and find one. If no luck I will contact Middleton stainless.

Hi Tony,
Did you get sorted with your 9/16 nuts?
I picked up a couple at an auto jumble yesterday and can post to you.

Best wishes

Thanks Keith, I contacted Villiers to order the kick start lever and the chap there said he would check if they had any nuts but he wasn't sure. As soon as my parts arrive, I will check and see if he was successful. If not I would be pleased to take those off your hands,
Regards, Tony.
