Hi all, This is my first post on the forum. I am looking for a gear lever and kick start lever for the 8E motor. Thanks, Tony.

Villiers 8E engine

Don't forget that Villiers Services can provide most parts for these engines.

Thanks for that Sandy, I was hoping someone had old used parts that would be cheaper than buying new.

levers

Post  keith livingstone on Thu Feb 15, 2018 10:51 pm

Hello
I'd go along with Sandy on that one.
Old levers are seldom in good condition especially kickstarts.  I have bought 4 or 5 in the last few years and every time when your in a tight spot they end up slipping on the splines so you wreck the shaft aswell.  Bought one from VS. yes its £65+ vat and maybe a bit to shiny but worth it,  I have my Falcon 67 on the road as a rolling restoration as i'm not into 'as new'  See picture attached although I now have 4 speed box fitted Love to see a pic of your 67.
