AMC 20T engine oilseal fitting

Just fitted new main bearings to the engine and then new oil seals...the crank is very stiff to rotate since I fitted the oilseals, is this normal ?

Pull out the seal runners and see if it turns any easier.
Be sure your seals lips don't turn in on themselves when fitting the runners and plenty of lube on them.
You never dropped the crank?  Mine moved in the web when I took it to bits so they are not that strong
