Can anyone tell me which wire goes to positive and the negative terminals of the coil Green or Maroon ?

coil wiring

The HT coil should be marked CB and SW, CB goes to the contact breaker and SW goes to the switch, if yours is marked + and - then the side that goes to the contacts will be what ever your earth polarity of your battery is connected to ?
