Can anyone help with dipswitch / horn. On the wiring diagram there are 2 dark reds 1 light red & 1 violet but where do they go in the switch ?

Just a quick look at the picture tells me the power to the headlight will be to the terminal that is on the dip switch lever, the feed to the headlight filament and the dip filament will be the two terminals that make when the lever is moved. Two terminals in the centre , either wire to either terminal it will just affect which way the lever is at rest for dip or main beam.
The other terminal furthest from the lever will be for the horn
