I need a new 6volt coil, is there a specific one for this bike or will a standard 6 volt Lucas one be ok.
Thanks for any information.

Coil

It will have to be a 6Volt DC coil (rather than a 6 Volt AC coil as it gets it's power direct from the battery after rectification from AC supplied by the alternator,) other than that should not be a problem

Coil

Try any parts supplier for BSA bantams as the D10,D14/4 and B175 all use the same set up with Wipac alternator and coil

Lucas coil

Trev, not familiar with that Lucas No, but if it is the correct physical size and is 6 Volt DC cannot see it being a problem ?
