The Goddard book lists the UUM prefix as a 1954 Falcon 67 Series 2 with an 8E villiers engine, would have started life as a road bike by the looks of it

Frame number

Post  piston 197 on Fri May 05, 2017 5:59 am

The UU designation denotes
U 1954
2nd U series II  model 67 Falcon ( roller bearings in hubs)
There then should be a M for Falcon

Frame numbers for "U" prefixes are
U = kestrel 66 plunger framed 125
UTM trials model 62
UTMS scrambles model 64
UMSO Falcon 65 overseas ( early tril bike)
UM Falcon 67 roadbike series I
UUM Falcon 67 roadbike series II

The Falcon67 with the UU frame number lends itself to the creation of a trials machine and indeed many have been converted ( I have 2) the steering headstock is 26 1/2 Deg same as a modern trials bike.

So your bike started as a road going model, but still makes a very competitive trials bike
