Maybe you can find a part number in something that will give a clue.

I guess the Yam will have a metric chain so maybe you have a special engine sprocket. The other thing would be chain length.
But if I hey have done it then it works .

Yamaha clutch

Hi All , I have fitted the said clutch as supplied by VS. Very simple to do and works very well just need to add a spacer to the chain case. I fitted it to a 8e falcon 74 trials converted bike. The one your front wheel went in Ken.

Could you identify it?

So when's your first trial?

Yamaha clutch

Maybe Rob could have a look for the Yamaha part No when it arrives (if it has one) . I would be interested to know and save me taking the chain case off.
Ken I think I will leave it until the summer before venture out with the Falcon. Still need to sort the exhaust .

Yamaha clutch

I think you will find part numbers are irrelevant as it is not a standard Yamaha clutch, but uses Yamaha basket. plates etc with sprocket modified to Villiers spec and special centre to fit Villiers spline, so even if you find any part numbers, you are still going to have to engineer it to fit. Personally I would do as Andy has done and buy one off the shelf from VS already adapted with correct parts and chainline and all the engineering and development work done for you ?

You may be right John
Just like to keep my mind active. It would be one hell of a coincidence if a Japenese clutch fitted exact on a British spline.
