Oil level and where please light cruiser 79

Hi I need to fill my light cruiser 79 1958 amc engine up with gear oil as it's empty,,, I have acquired some sae50 gear oil 2 litres of it,,,where do I put it I've been told take the 2 screws of the metal plate where clutch cable goes in and fill it.. Do I need to put oil anywhere else thanks.

Oil

That's the AMC engine?
There is a larger screw just behind the Kickstart lever. It's different to the rest, that's the level. You can remove the inspection cover to fill it. There is a small breather hole in that cover,check it's clear. Of course the clutch has it's own oil.

Gear oil

It's been a while but think it's a funny shape nut. You may need to let it stand some time yo stop running out.

Ok I have filled gear box oil up to that screw mark,,, now on the other side of case there a cover again and inside it has a drive chain and clutch inside what do I put in there as it looks dry thanks

Gearbox

Fill the chaincase by removing the plate with Francis Barnett on it.
Fill with ATF and undo the Bung about midway at he bottom and wait until is stops running out. You can get handbooks from within the club
