Oil or ATF in the clutch ?

Post  Stevejoyce on Mon Sep 05, 2016 7:32 am

I am running a Villiers 8e with cork clutch plates in a Norman B2s trial bike and would welcome views on the use of ATF rather than oil in the clutch.
Any tried this ?
Also could you use ATF in the gearbox ?
Look forward to your responses.
Regards
Steve

I have ran ATF or TQF in Villiers clutches since the 80's with no noticeable problems

Do not/never use ATF in the gbox. SAE 140 is the right stuff.
