falcon 70 1955 frame

acquired the above and after blasting spotted slight curve where front downtube joins headstock. all engine bolts in line and no evidence of collateral damage. forks are fine but could be replacements. is the downtube supposed to be straight?

The Falcon 67 frame is the "bent from new" frame. Model 70 should be straight.
I once rammed a Model 74 into a parked van & bent the frame badly, but the forks were perfectly OK despite the whack.

thanks for info. definitely 1955 frame so i'll have a really detailed overall look around for other damage then get it straightened.

As a 17 year old I hit a grey Austin A55 van ( on my 1956 10 Falcon 74) which was doing a "U" turn in the road, hit the front passenger wheel and went over the bonnet, same result bent frame, straight forks ( crushed headlight, dented tank) took my bike test on it next day, examiner not impressed with damaged bike and plastic bag for a headlight glass, guess what ? FAILED
