I am presuming you have a Falcon 81 with the 10E engine
kick start, return spring and gear change off
points cover plate off ( 3 screws)
cam, key and circlip off and outer cover off ( 2 screws and one nut and lead to points)
flywheel off ( self extracting centre nut)
coil back plate off ( 4 screws around centre)
coil is held from the back of the back plate ( 4 screws)
while you have it off change the crankcase seal, ( press fit in backplate centre) it is only a couple of quid
if you have bought a new coil it has probably arrived without the soft iron ends, these press off and can be fitted to new coil . make sure the HT pick up is correctly positioned
