Possible help?

Post  NDHAERO on Thu Oct 01, 2015 7:03 pm

Hi, i have the Goddard book on the Francis Barnett. It has a written description but no exploded diagram, unfortunately.

I can scan a copy for you if that is of any help?

Merlin front fork bearings

Post  trickydicky on Fri Oct 02, 2015 8:16 pm

Hello, I am stripping the frame for repainting on my 1953 Merlin and noticed the fork bearings are very sloppy and the seals are hard too. I have driven them out and can see they are badly worn. Does anyone know where I can get replacements or exact dimensions to have new ones machined?
