Parts wanted for 1950 power bike

Post  Frank 9 on Mon Mar 16, 2015 11:15 am

Greetings all. My first time on the forum, from Tasmania, Australia. I am looking for a rear stand and a cover for the magneto of a 1950 FB Power Bike. Both items lost when the bike was being transferred from Western Australia to Tasmania. Needed to bring my terminally ill son's bike up to pristine condition.

Mike, sorry for taking so long to reply. Due to my limited knowledge of getting around the site. Hope this answer gets to the right place.
The stand and cover are exactly what I am looking for. What do I do now?

Cheers,

Frank

Hi Frank, as Ken said, you need to contact this dealer at http://www.villiersparts.co.uk/ he has the flywheel cover you need, part number M1580, price 7 or 13.5 AUD, it will probably cost the same for postage.

As for the stand, I don't think your going to find one although you may be lucky, you may end up having to have one made. If you look at the thread below, on page 4 you will see what other members have had to do, if you decide to do that, you'll need a diagram and measurements of course. Mike
