FB Powerbike 56 back pedal spring

Post  FB vincent on Fri Feb 27, 2015 4:15 pm

I am looking for a Powerbike 56 trip lever spring. The dotted line on the drawing below gives some idea of the spring, but I really need a good sketch or loan of a pattern to get a new spring made (or does anyone have a spare spring??). Please PM me if you can help.  Thanks, Sandy

Powerbike 56 Trip lever spring

Still no luck with this enquiry, but I remain hopeful that someone has a Powerbike 56 with the original spring who would be able to provide dimensions. Sandy

Sandy
When I get my trials bike off the ramp in my garage I will get the Power bike on the ramp and get you some information. Mine is not perfrct but will try. Its like the spring in a clothes peg .

Spring

Sandy. Bad news

I had a look at mine and the spring is not there .
I am sure it did have one. Most fittings are finger tight.
So I am in the same boat as you .I will do some searching and ask some questions and see what I can find out . It all looks a pretty poor idea anyway. Think a cable rear would be better but would like to keep it standard.
Let me know if you find out anything and I will do likewise.

Good news on this. FBOC member Ken Booth pointed me towards Alberta Springs who provided a set - you can find their contact details using Google.
