Thanks top brass for your reply sorry for asking such questions as I am repainting the bike and starting to put things back just want to be sure that things are where they should be. and not been put there because some one in the past made do.
I am enjoying this bike and can't wait to get it on the road.

rectifier position
The original rectifier was round with a hole in the centre, and fitted horizontally to the stud the bit of bent alloy is fixed to, presumably this was made to suit the non-standard square wico pacy one now fitted ??
