Falcon Bike pump?

Falcon Bike pump?

Post  andy-s on Sat Sep 21, 2013 8:39 pm

Hi all, does anyone know if a bike pump was ever fitted as standard to the falcon 74 frame ?
My falcon has two lugs 14" apart (the sort you would find on a push bike) fitted to the right hand side of the frame . I always thought they were added by a previous owner , but having
recently stripped the frame for restoration it looks to me like the lugs were factory fitted, welded in the same manor as the frame .If this was standard does anyone know of the correct sort of pump to carry and maybe where to find one?
I am also after some advice on where to get a new wiring loom or diagram to DIY ?
Thanks in advance Andy

yep, my 74 has pump mountings to, ( no pump) my advice would be to nip on ebay and look for the oldest bluemells pump you can find, youl be suprised how big vintage cycling has become, loads of stuff for sale. rob:D

I must be a lucky chap just finished restoring my falcon 87 it came with it`s original all metal pump and the long adapter painted the same colour as the bike (green) so I`m well pleased with the out come. Very Happy
