coil and lighting

Post  rosevilla on Mon Nov 12, 2012 11:20 am

I recently rewired my falcon 70 putting in an exterior 6v coil,as the old mag coil was redundant I fitted a lighting coil in its place, this has increased the charging amps considerably , Bu I now have a tendency to blow the fuse which I also inserted in the circuit. Has any one else tried this and did they have any troubles
