MAGNETO FLYWHEEL

Post  sunbeam 90 on Mon Aug 22, 2011 10:57 pm

Information needed for a AMC 150 cc 1961 plover magneto flywheel. Can any one tell me the diameter and pitch and form of thread for the flywheel puller needed for this engine. Also what size and thread is the nut that holds the flywheel on.Thanks Dave. PS, I think the nut is a left hand thread but at the moment it is just turning in both directions on the crankshaft and i need to work out how to remove it without causing any damage to the crankshaft and with a bit of luck the crank being harder steel than the nut, most of the striping/wear will be on the nut.
